At the Irish College of English, we offer Intensive year-round English Courses in Dublin at our Malahide School. The Irish College of English is recognised by ACELS, a service of quality and qualifications in Ireland, for English Language Education. Students can register for courses from 1 week to 1 year in duration, and there is an excellent mix of nationalities in all our programmes. We also operate Learner Protection through our membership of MEI. Many students come to Ireland for a  1 – 4 Week Course with Host Family Accommodation to Improve their English, others come for our 1 Year Programme to experience studying and living and working part-time in Ireland.

Our boutique school limits the number of adults to 60 students, ensuring that each student's needs are met and progress is closely monitored. We pride ourselves on offering a diverse mix of nationalities, creating a rich and rewarding cultural experience for our students.

Located in the heart of Malahide, just a stone's throw away from Dublin's coastline, our students are treated to the best of both worlds. With attractions such as Malahide Castle, a beautiful seaside village, a marina, and coastal walks, there's never a dull moment outside of the classroom. And with Dublin city's highlights within reach, students get the full Irish experience while living and socializing with locals.

Our carefully selected host families in Malahide and surrounding areas provide single rooms and are located within walking distance or on a very short bus or train journey to the school. We guarantee one nationality per family, unless otherwise requested, and have quality assurance procedures in place to ensure a great stay for all our students.

During some periods, adults may be located in our nearby towns, including Portmarnock, Kinsealy, and Donabate, which have a 10-20 minute commute to the school. We will communicate this at the time of booking.
